エコピックとは？
ギタリストが常に消耗し続けるのがピックです。ライブやリハーサルなど、弾きつづけるほどピックは磨耗します。弾き方によっては1回のライブで何度もピックを交換する方もいるでしょう。もしプレイヤーのために耐久性の強い、磨耗の少ないピックを作ることができれば廃棄物になってしまうピックを減らすことができるのではないか、と考えました。様々な素材を検討した結果、ペットボトルに使われるポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)に注目しました。素材をPETにすれば回収したペットボトルからピックを作りだすことが可能になり、 PETの再資源化を実現することになります。しかし、ピックの重要な使命は「いい音」を出すことにあります。開発の段階で数々のミュージシャン、アーティストに多くの意見を求めました。そして、いま。ペットボトルから生まれた、クリアーな音色と耐久性に優れた新しいピック、「エコピック」が完成しました
